Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Alvin Bergfelt from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Keld Paulsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 76th minute, Åke Pil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Ian Clementsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Ian Clementsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvin Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Pil in the 87th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Termander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Clementsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Åke Pil scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 0-6. Ian Clementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Denmark had been in control for most of the match, AIK FOTBOLL still came away with the win.
