Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chris Nygaard got the match started through his kick off. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sven-Oskar Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 9 minutes on the clock, Simon Bendtsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave AIK FOTBOLL a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Georg Termander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. 0-1. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leif Harlén in the 13 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Valdemar Tomasson put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Keld Paulsen. Sten Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Leif Harlén made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Valdemar Tomasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Tomasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 40 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 41st minute of play. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Denmark players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AIK FOTBOLL were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Tomasson was the one to do the kick off. When AIK FOTBOLL's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Valdemar Tomasson sent off a good shot on target. Valdemar Tomasson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK FOTBOLL. 78 minutes into the game, Åke Pil lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Keld Paulsen. If Åke Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Leif Harlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theis Winther made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lars Steen. Bertram Svenningsen scored 1-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Åke Pil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ian Clementsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen. Ian Clementsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. AIK FOTBOLL were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Denmark's much stronger midfield.
