The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 彭光星 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 王翔青 couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute of the game Daniel Vitek made a throw-in which Alan Rezek played forward. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭光星 in the 67th minute of play. 汪冰青 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 78 in the game by 彭光星 from a close distance when the talented Vavrinec Holub managed to make a qualified save. Czech Republic's players were relieved. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪冰青 having to interfere.
