NFC Eagles 22's Dé Baron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. NFC Eagles 22 were furious when Christiaan Been was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dé Baron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonhard Maier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dé Baron came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonhard Maier slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Marvin Harrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Baron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Baron having to interfere. Dé Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonhard Maier in the 22nd minute of the match. Dé Baron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maurits Apotheker. Marvin Harrer came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dé Baron could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Schneider in the 28th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Dé Baron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Baron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonhard Maier, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Dé Baron got control of the ball when Marvin Harrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dé Baron made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Sandro Galishoff sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Jonas Nalder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dé Baron. Jonas Nalder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ton de Ruijter to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Fabio Schneider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dé Baron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dé Baron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Schneider went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Dé Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hub Schild hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Jonas Nalder with Fabio Schneider as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the NFC Eagles 22 defense, Fabio Schneider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé Baron. The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Baron should have stopped the shot. Dé Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Harrer in the 72nd minute of the match. Dé Baron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 76th minute of play. Dé Baron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Austria had played much better football throughout.
