Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sreten Popovic took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvijetin Nanusevski to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Valério Vidigal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Vila Facaia and the Serbia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Serbia booed when Sporting Vila Facaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Vidigal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Durães in the 17th minute of play. Flávio Prada charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Prada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Miljan Gavrilovic got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Marcos Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Maurício Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Toscano in the 28th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was a little too slow when José Durães got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cvijetin Nanusevski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Vila Facaia's Valério Vidigal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sporting Vila Facaia's Albérico Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladeta Jovic in the 37th minute of play. Albérico Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Sporting Vila Facaia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Flávio Prada hit a great ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Durães in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alcides Pacheco was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Cvijetin Nanusevski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Sreten Popovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Sreten Popovic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albérico Aires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valério Vidigal hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Vladeta Jovic came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Serbia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladeta Jovic couldn't finish the play. Sreten Popovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Sreten Popovic recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albérico Aires. Sreten Popovic showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 87 minutes into the game, Sreten Popovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serbia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Vila Facaia the free kick. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sreten Popovic hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Vladeta Jovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Borjan Golubovic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albérico Aires, 1-2. Chants of Serbia echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sporting Vila Facaia had held the ball for most of the match.
