Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narciso Madureira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Madureira in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Madureira came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Narciso Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Ferrão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Tome who took care of the corner kick. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 15th minute. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aderbal Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th minute, Marcos Vilas Boas made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aderbal Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barreto. After having played for 45 minutes, Narciso Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Straedelburgh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Straedelburgh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Straedelburgh getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Betão Matorin hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Straedelburgh's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Aderbal Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes Straedelburgh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Ferrão in the 67th minute. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aderbal Santos having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Straedelburgh's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Aderbal Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderbal Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Straedelburgh's Aderbal Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomeu Dias to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Vilas Boas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Bartolomeu Dias made a precise shot to the right of Aderbal Santos. Straedelburgh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Aderbal Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 93rd minute of play forced Straedelburgh's goalkeeper Aderbal Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Straedelburgh players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Portugal from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
