Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andreas King kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Andreas King tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Backman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kåge BF's Luca Moți got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas King in the 33rd minute. Torsten Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of play. Roland Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 40th minute of the match. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Andreas King took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 69 played minutes Kåge BF got a freekick which was hit by Linus Åström. After having played for 75 minutes, Lars-Erik Wik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kåge BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Wik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kåge BF made a substitution. Jan-Olof Bergman replaced Andreas King. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Backman having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Roland Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jan-Olof Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Roland Backman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Despite being the better team, Germany failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
