The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Kürşat Bengi got free with Henrich Slany in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Çetin Reca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Çetin Reca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Suchy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Metod Mlynar. Metod Mlynar struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Denizhan Onatkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slovakia. 32 minutes in the game Anıl Arda Sefik did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Galip Tuğ. Henrich Slany made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ali Kürşat Bengi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 37th minute. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Anıl Arda Sefik with Doğaner Rebi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 45 minutes, Ali Kürşat Bengi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sirince's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kürşat Bengi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çetin Reca, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çetin Reca made a kick off. The supporters of sirince booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vít Biskup didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Slovakia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
