The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 曲松康 took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Talenti Roma Calcio from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christophe Rau. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 曲松康 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christophe Rau was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Donato Di Sipio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲松康 in the 23rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Talenti Roma Calcio getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zdzislaw Gierlach hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Ianni in the 27th minute of the match. Aldo Ianni struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talenti Roma Calcio. Christophe Rau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Christophe Rau however easily saved by the left post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Bussi in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Talenti Roma Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Christophe Rau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ciccio Bussi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Rau having to interfere. With a little luck, Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 曲松康 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buğrahan Vecih in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Talenti Roma Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buğrahan Vecih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when 曲松康 sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Rau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buğrahan Vecih, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 曲松康 was slow to take the kick. During this time Talenti Roma Calcio's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Ianni came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christophe Rau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christophe Rau. Talenti Roma Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Talenti Roma Calcio's Fabiano Palmucci was substituted for Buğrahan Vecih. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when 曲松康 sent off a good shot on target. Christophe Rau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talenti Roma Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Gijsbert ter Kruimer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Christophe Rau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Talenti Roma Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Angelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
