Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute MKS Maczka were awarded a corner. Folke Samuelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. After 4 played minutes MKS Maczka got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Herea. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Kolbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. The supporters of MKS Maczka booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Fleischer came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Gacek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 22 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. After having played for 23 minutes, Eugeniusz Kolbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Maczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Kolbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 29th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Cvitanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Maczka's Eugeniusz Kolbert. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Kolbert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugeniusz Kolbert struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Maczka. After 41 played minutes MKS Maczka got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Devrim Erensoy. Eugeniusz Kolbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Kolbert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emil Cvitanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Eugeniusz Kolbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Emil Cvitanović in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Gaszynski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Kolbert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
