The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostyslav Leonenko in the 4th minute of play. Roman Biraga charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Biraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Roman Biraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Jandryca took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to FC WAWER getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Borys Palzewicz hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but David Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, England's Kyle Cox ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Ferran. David Ferran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, FC WAWER's Zenon Jandryca made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes of play, FC WAWER's Adam Zakrzewski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Jandryca, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 30 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Jandryca came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, FC WAWER's Adam Zakrzewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Eddie Willis hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. David Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC WAWER getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rostyslav Leonenko hit a great ball. Adam Zakrzewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

David Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Jandryca in the 59th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Fatih Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fatih Özbay went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 81st minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper David Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC WAWER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Micah Macdonald was slow to take the kick. During this time England's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to England's Caelan Hayes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With an all-out effort, FC WAWER's Khalid Kennedy threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marian Italia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute Marian Italia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomir Domin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. The FC WAWER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC WAWER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
