After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Blas Cidro quite easily take care of the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Staalfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Cidro having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Aasum in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenney Aasum in the 36th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilmer Tokkesdal who took care of the corner kick. F.C. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Staalfos in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddie Stavngaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddie Stavngaard ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Staalfos made a kick off. After 52 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilmer Tokkesdal who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vilmer Tokkesdal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. F.C. København's Blas Cidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. København from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. F.C. København's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Balazs Lajos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Blas Cidro quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Blas Cidro. In the 64thth minute of the game Augustin Staalfos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Staalfos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. F.C. København's Daniel Stelian was substituted for Hassan Sjøbeck. 71 minutes into the game, F.C. København's Augustin Staalfos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Blas Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Staalfos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Stelian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3-1 became the score in the 86th minute when Kenney Aasum elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. F.C. København's Blas Cidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. København from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. F.C. København were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
