The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Liviu Enoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Panaitescu got free with Tommy Kahn in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobrin Cormoran in the 17th minute. Cormoranii -MM- were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valer Uduleanu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Valer Uduleanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Covataru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornel Panaitescus short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dobrin Cormoran got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Dobrin Cormoran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Dobrin Cormoran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Cormoranii -MM-'s Lucrețiu Sântimbrean got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobrin Cormoran kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dobrin Cormoran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Panaitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Cornel Panaitescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Cornel Panaitescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobrin Cormoran in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Dobrin Cormoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dobrin Cormoran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 71st minute Dobrin Cormoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Cormoranii -MM-'s corner Valer Uduleanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball.
