Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Italy's Boruc Furgal threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Siricio Liotta hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Sigfrido Auletta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Boruc Furgal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Italy were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Kania Gostyń's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wnukowski in the 27th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boruc Furgal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Sostene Vitulli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boruc Furgal. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 45th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 47th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Porziano Marchitelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boruc Furgal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Kania Gostyń's Boruc Furgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Sigfrido Auletta notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Kania Gostyń's Boruc Furgal. Boruc Furgal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kania Gostyń's Konstanty Domalik was substituted for Wiktor Falkiewicz. Kania Gostyń's Alfred Lech was substituted for Rei Bolas. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kania Gostyń's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Furgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boruc Furgal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Konstanty Domalik put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Vittori. Adriano Curto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Italy's Guiscardo Davide looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the Italy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
