He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fodor Daniel. Thanks to some nice moves Folke Melin could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pauliström defense, Takacs Tibor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Wall. The Pauliström fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Wall should have stopped the shot. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Johansson in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Albert Andberg. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malcolm Wall having to make a save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Wall having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ingvar Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Balazs Lajos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Johansson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pauliström's Max Hjortsberg got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pauliström's goalie prevented a goal. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivar Björklund ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Pauliström's corner Ivar Björklund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 85th minute, Alexander Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malcolm Wall. Balazs Lajos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
