Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Montenegro made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Enrique de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planet Caravan's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabian in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabian came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Sven Krakouer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Planet Caravan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Planet Caravan's Waldir Peres. Waldir Peres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Luís Fabian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabian, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Fiori Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Fiori Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Montenegro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabian's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 45th minute. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fabian made a kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Luís Fabian from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabian in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Planet Caravan's Luís Fabian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 61st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Waldir Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Fabian could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Glauco Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 90 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Quirino. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fabian in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Planet Caravan's Luís Fabian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The Planet Caravan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Planet Caravan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
