Leandro Sugar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Jon Cubero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adria Bielsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alves having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Enrique Rabellino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spain fully deserved thier win.
