Matías Mendes made the kick off and thus started the match. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Waack in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benito Lain was slow to take the kick. During this time Izaltina FAD's players had a chance to rest. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Manuel Alves made a huge save. Well-Well Waack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Sugar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Jon Cubero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adria Bielsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alves having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Sugar in the 34th minute of the match. The Spain fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Spain's Omar Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 41 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benito Lain who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Izaltina FAD's corner Benito Lain fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Matías Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Adria Bielsa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. In the 91st minute, one of Izaltina FAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Izaltina FAD. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Jon Cubero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Enrique Rabellino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spain fully deserved thier win.
