Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Niitsoo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Spain lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
