Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Skarkman went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jens Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Skarkman in the 39th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zac O'Donnell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urban Lund came out and tried to block the shot, but Zac O'Donnell slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Skarkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jack MacKinnon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ralf Ålberg struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI. If Zac O'Donnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urban Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fletcher Main's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Nils-Åke Pihlblad kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nils-Åke Pihlblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Morrison. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Ralf Ålberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. When Zac O'Donnell came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Scotland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zac O'Donnell couldn't finish the play. Alistair Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Urban Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Örtendal. Zac O'Donnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Lund having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Hannes Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Grep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Zac O'Donnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zac O'Donnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MARADONA PINAKAMALAKI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
