Mojmír Šimončič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Gunnar Brændgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Brændgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Gunnar Brændgaard took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Casper Claes to make any attempt to save it. Guillaume Bonte made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Stinking Dogs's Mojmír Šimončič. If Pavol Boborovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Brændgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhou Yuan Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 24th minute of play. Laurens Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cihangir Olgunsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stinking Dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Cihangir Olgunsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Brændgaard in the 39th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 57 minutes, Gunnar Brændgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Stinking Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Brændgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Gunnar Brændgaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Gunnar Brændgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Stinking Dogs's Zhou Yuan Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gunnar Brændgaard notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Brændgaard in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zhou Yuan Feng. The goal made the score 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 80th minute of play forced FC Stinking Dogs's goalkeeper Zhou Yuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Brændgaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Zhou Yuan Feng was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Zhou Yuan Feng to make any attempt to save it. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
