Klaas Dejonghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. Klaas Dejonghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play. Klaas Dejonghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Zbyszko Kempski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Svetomir Kostić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wariatów Kupa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Svetomir Kostić hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Klaas Dejonghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaas Dejonghe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Ligas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes Wariatów Kupa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Lars Meesters managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Wariatów Kupa getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ke Xun Yang hit a great ball. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaas Dejonghe saved Wariatów Kupa from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 62nd minute of the match. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Klaas Dejonghe to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Klaas Dejonghe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Klaas Dejonghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 77th minute. Klaas Dejonghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wariatów Kupa's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Dejonghe came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Sochacki came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-3 became the score in the 89th minute when Mikolaj Sochacki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodor Ivănescu during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Wariatów Kupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Ivănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszko Kempski kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
