Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jamieson in the 2nd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Milferio's Jonatan Iraitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Milferio were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feng Xiang Yi took the corner. Feng Xiang Yi made a great header on Milferio's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Terry Jamieson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Prospero Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Prospero Avellaneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prospero Avellaneda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 30th minute of play. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico-Jan van der Aa in the 38 minute of the game. The supporters of Portugal booed when Milferio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Iraitz in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Iraitz in the 59th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Milferio getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Feng Xiang Yi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tono in the 62nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Tono was slow to take the kick. During this time Milferio's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Enzo Tono almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. When Terry Jamieson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wilson Amorim was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Jonatan Iraitz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Milferio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Iraitz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 71st minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Terry Jamieson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terry Jamieson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 77th match minute, Milferio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico-Jan van der Aa to maneuver through the defense. Terry Jamieson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milferio's Eugenios Moutsios was substituted for Terry Jamieson. Eugenios Moutsios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Eugenios Moutsios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute, Eugenios Moutsios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milferio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
