The tension between the France and the ✪ XV de Umarizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jean Bombelles kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek in the 10th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Maxime Durand was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for France through an amazing save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano van Beek in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Adriano van Beek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Maxime Durand stood somewhat misplaced when Adriano van Beek came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. 20 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 24th minute of play. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano van Beek, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 30th minute of play. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliézer Paranaense ran over to the corner to take the kick. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Eliézer Paranaense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maxime Durand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute Eliézer Paranaense suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 38 minutes into the game, Camille Baume was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✪ XV de Umarizal the free kick. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Allan Winström was substituted for Eliézer Paranaense. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Adriano van Beek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Yan Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Raimundo Guerra got a free kick in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Bruneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Passos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Remy Dupuy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remy Dupuy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Adriano van Beek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Allan Winström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henry Robiquet, made in the 78th minute of the game.
