Italy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Turgut Soyuer 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Zena Busacca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Tytus Orling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 2-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 51st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes in the game Luan Pombo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Su Jian Jie. With his leg David Abad managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Abad, 2-4. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Turgut Soyuer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. The supporters of Italy booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Xiang Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
