Morgan Haglund's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morgan Haglund helped the player get up and apologised. Morgan Haglund hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 20th minute of play forced Trixande Fåglar BK's goalkeeper Börge Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Levander made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Östen Askestät however managed to control. Ralf Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jens-Åke Larsfelt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Börge Jelm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jens-Åke Larsfelt made the kick off in the second half. Per Kvarnström made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oskar Levander immediately put the ball in play. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Trixande Fåglar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Haglund to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Trixande Fåglar BK's Börge Jelm. Börge Jelm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oskar Levander made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ralf Olofsson however managed to control. Oskar Levander got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Östen Askestät. Ove Ferm hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Olav Graversen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Trixande Fåglar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Börge Jelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Göransson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trixande Fåglar BK. 95 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trixande Fåglar BK the free kick. After 95 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. Denmark's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
