Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Leonardo Lane started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute of the match, Leonardo Lane tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxime Durand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sergey Krasinskiy sent off a good shot on target. If Leonardo Lane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhys Dimmock came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Davis Duff ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leonardo Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Bruneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lane in the 26th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Lane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 31 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davis Duff who took care of the corner kick. Zamalek FC's Davis Duff was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maxime Durand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lane dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxime Durand, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Leonardo Lane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 39th minute Leonardo Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergey Krasinskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Rhys Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Leonardo Lane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Lane in the 55th minute of play. Leonardo Lane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Lane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Lane's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Robert Chapuis hit a great ball. Leonardo Lane struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek FC. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Tytus Banaszak replaced Leonardo Lane. Tytus Banaszak took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Davis Duff got a free kick in the 77th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jann Bernickow in the 79th minute of play. Rhys Dimmock was a little too slow when Robert Chapuis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 3-2. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Daron Joseph replaced Fred Kirkpatrick. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tytus Banaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Jann Bernickow came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zamalek FC had won after a very even match.
