Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rigoberto Ceandro made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When NYC United's Rigoberto Ceandro in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bumin Mete sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. In the 19thth minute of the game Rigoberto Ceandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Ceandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Rigoberto Ceandro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A nice corner shot did that Graciano Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingo Bide quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Ceandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, NYC United's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Domingo Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bumin Mete in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ali Cengiz Peykan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 41st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Caetano Moreira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 43 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. 44 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Carlomagno came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Moreira's late challenge caught a NYC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Domingo Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 58th minute of play. Domingo Bide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, NYC United's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bumin Mete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Domingo Bide. NYC United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Domingo Bide came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Ceandro got free with Wilson Amorim in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Bide having to make a save. NYC United's Domingo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rigoberto Ceandro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 3-4. When Portugal's Felipinho Amorim in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NYC United's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Pimentel might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Pimentel ran back to his position shaking his head. NYC United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
