After taking down the ball on BydgoskieWilki's corner Nunez Betadur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maxime Durand quite easily take care of the ball. Roman Cwojdak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafal Betonowy hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Laurentzi in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roman Cwojdak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Camille Baume. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Barowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Dupuy to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Bartosz Barowicz sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The audience was convinced that Angelo Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Roman Cwojdak when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
