Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Jeremias Mark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-0. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Mark got free with Casper Claes in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Medievales's Gustavo Gar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Floris Claeys, made in the 36th minute of the game. Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gustavo Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Medievales got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Gar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, one of Belgium:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zhao Ran Ming made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Zhao Ran Ming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute of play. Zhao Ran Ming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 64th minute. Yves Dervaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhao Ran Ming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Deportivo Medievales's Eleuterio Ovando was substituted for Carlos Frisco. After 68 minutes Deportivo Medievales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Deportivo Medievales's Zhao Ran Ming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Medievales from getting a goal against them. Zhao Ran Ming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Sazon was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Medievales's players had a chance to rest. Eleuterio Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhao Ran Ming was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Nino Manfredi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gar made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Floris Claeys. Deportivo Medievales's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
