Metod Mlynar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dan Bergstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Flinck in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Flinck in the 18th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Jämjö IFK from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Pelle Flinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Jämjö IFK's goalkeeper Dan Bergstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. Henrich Slany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Flinck went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metod Mlynar was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Almstedt made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ludwig Waller immediately put the ball in play. Jämjö IFK's Pelle Flinck got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Vavrinec Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metod Mlynar in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Bergstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Patrick Hedling fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jämjö IFK's protests and gave Patrick Hedling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Hedling to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Almstedt made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Henning Bodin immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 92 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Flinck in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
