Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edward Vanderstraeten got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Borys Gruchacz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Scarpa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Gruchacz. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Gruchacz should have stopped the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Borys Gruchacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rd play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Borys Gruchacz. 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Scarpa in the 43rd minute of play. Gustavo Scarpa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Scarpa made a kick off. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belgium's Laurens Vandamme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Gruchacz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Belgium's Sander Dermaut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guilherme Joinvilense in the 57 minute of the game. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sander Dermaut in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Khan. Lennart Khan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Mané Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Mané Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Tostão Montenegro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mané Lara struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville United - FSCMZ. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Montenegro in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Belgium booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evgeniy Bakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Borys Gruchacz skillfully saved the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
