Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Scarpa started the match with the kick off. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Scarpa in the 7th minute of play. Maurício Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Borys Gruchacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 12th minute. If Gustavo Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Gustavo Scarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lenny Clocheret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Borys Gruchacz. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Guilherme Joinvilense with Gustavo Scarpa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 28 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes in the game, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Guillaume Bonte got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yves Dervaux. Simon Sabbe made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yves Dervaux immediately put the ball in play. Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Gruchacz having to interfere. A hard shot 44 in the game by Edward Vanderstraeten from a close distance when the talented Borys Gruchacz managed to make a qualified save. Joinville United - FSCMZ's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Scarpa in the 53rd minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Scarpa in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz. Borys Gruchacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Gustavo Scarpa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Mané Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Mané Lara notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mané Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Borys Gruchacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
