Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, Aurora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Adilson das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Theis Winther quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luciano Monteiro, made in the 6th minute of the game. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aurora FC's goalie prevented a goal. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. Simon Bendtsen stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Aurora FC's defenders and the ball went out. Denmark appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After 12 minutes, Zé Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurora FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Zanette hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aurora FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rune Myr sent off a good shot on target. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adilson das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Zé Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Mattos made a kick off. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson das Neves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gonçalo Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute of the match Valdir Schmidt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Myr in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Gonçalo Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson das Neves having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Lars Steen suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Aurora FC's Zé Zanette got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Zé Zanette off the ground. Denmark made a substitution. Malthe Lassen replaced Lars Steen. In the 93rd minute, Zé Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Adilson das Neves in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
