Mané Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal:s Wilson Amorim showed great skill when he stopped Arne Offendahl:s penalty. Mané Lara took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 10th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Prospero Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yang Hui Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 20th minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Lara in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville United - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Caetano Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Gruchacz was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Hui Wen in the 66th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Scarpa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo Scarpa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute, Fernando Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurício Donatello. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Joinville United - FSCMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Joinville United - FSCMZ.
