In the 6thth minute of the game Aaro Jatkola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olli Lehtilä. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olli Lehtilä should have stopped the shot. After 13 minutes, Sven Krakouer mouthed his way into the referee's book. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kustaa Esala, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Germany's attentive Janik Vogt managed to snatch the ball when Sylwester Panasewicz made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaro Jatkola in the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes in the game Ilari Kärnä did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kustaa Esala. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
