The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Joan Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Spain's Adria Bielsa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Verdu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 70 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Gică Popescu. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Barabás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Verdu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Ruiz went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Merino to maneuver through the defense. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spain fully deserved thier win.
