Oktay Gariboğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Hilal Gençlik defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buğrahan Ufki. The Hilal Gençlik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buğrahan Ufki should have stopped the shot. Hilal Gençlik's Buğrahan Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oktay Gariboğlu got free with Arnout Reekers in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buğrahan Ufki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of the match. Hilal Gençlik's Buğrahan Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bolko Julius made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Cumhur Mürşit in the 51st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Bolko Julius kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Buğrahan Ufki in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buğrahan Ufki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 69th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rasialdo in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Bolko Julius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, Hilal Gençlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rando Aas to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Efekan Ensar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hilal Gençlik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
