After a rather tough play, IFK Fjärås's Göran Lind got a free kick in the 4th minute. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Hannes Gulliksson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IFK Fjärås's Hannes Gulliksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 9th minute of play. Hannes Gulliksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goal looked a bit too open when David Barbier came free, but Hannes Gulliksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th play minute Frank Peletier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hannes Gulliksson. 1-0. Hannes Gulliksson made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean Bombelles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Gulliksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Camille Baume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Anton Billvall came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the IFK Fjärås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Billvall couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Frank Peletier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Camille Baume struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hannes Gulliksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Eliasson to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, David Barbier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hannes Gulliksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Frank Peletier sped through IFK Fjärås's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hannes Gulliksson. If David Barbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of Hannes Gulliksson. IFK Fjärås's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Sven-Edvin Vester got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Samuel Lindholm. In the 81st minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Gulliksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Peletier might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Gulliksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Peletier ran back to his position shaking his head. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 90th minute of play forced IFK Fjärås's goalkeeper Hannes Gulliksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camille Baume struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hannes Gulliksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France.
