Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Hannes Gulliksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. With a little luck, IFK Fjärås's Hannes Gulliksson got control of the ball when Daniel Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hannes Gulliksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Billvall in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Anton Billvall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Portugal booed when IFK Fjärås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anton Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Graciano Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the IFK Fjärås players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Bjurström in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's Konrad Bjurström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Olof Blixt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Viriato Moura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hannes Gulliksson. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Billvall in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, IFK Fjärås's Olov Eliasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

In the 62nd minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Hannes Gulliksson. IFK Fjärås's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Fjärås's goalie prevented a goal. Olov Eliasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 70th minute, Bartolomeu Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannes Gulliksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Bartolomeu Dias struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hannes Gulliksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Olov Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Olov Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Olov Eliasson in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. In the 83rd minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Gulliksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Edvin Vester kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hannes Gulliksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 86th minute of the match. Hannes Gulliksson came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. After some careless play in the IFK Fjärås defense, Graciano Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hannes Gulliksson. The IFK Fjärås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hannes Gulliksson should have stopped the shot.
