Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Carpathians's Stefan Dobay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Cazimir Feteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Spain's David Aranda got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Spain's Enrique Rabellino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matei Răducu. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Stefan Dobay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matei Răducu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Omar Toledo. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Toledo. After 29 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by David Aranda. In the 30th minute of the match, Omar Toledo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matei Răducu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Nichitelea in the 31st minute of play. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 35th minute of play. Matei Răducu was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Omar Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Omar Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 43rd minute Alin Nichitelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Matias Ferrandis. 46 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Dobay came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
50 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Ferrandis charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Ferrandis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Matias Ferrandis. Carpathians's Connor Hughes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gabriel Ascaso but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aranda in the 55th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Spain's Omar Toledo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpathians's goalie prevented a goal. David Aranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Ferrandis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Carpathians's Dorel Pipirig was substituted for Cazimir Feteanu. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Matias Ferrandis hit a great ball. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carles Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carles Cherro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Dorel Pipirig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorel Pipirig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Cherro in the 79th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Pipirig, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Cherro came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Pipirig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Carpathians were awarded a corner. Dorel Pipirig went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dorel Pipirig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save. Carpathians's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 94th minute of play. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Spain were the better team. Spain's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
