After a rather tough play, Holtland FC's Vinny Jones got a free kick in the 5th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Hungary's Antal Valentin tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baal Vanger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Koole went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 20 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Aarache. 25 minutes into the match, Holtland FC's Sjef Fellinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Holtland FC got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maikel Douwes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Baal Vanger. Holtland FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Holtland FC's Angel Dellasierra got a free kick in the 34th minute. Baal Vanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Antal Valentin hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Holtland FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ieltxu. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Koole in the 52nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Holtland FC's Baal Vanger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Holtland FC from getting a goal against them. Jose Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Koole in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Koole in the 64th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Koole came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Baal Vanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. In the 82nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Koole in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Jose Ieltxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Jose Ieltxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
