Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Santiago Futebol Clube's Nico Bueno got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Santiago Futebol Clube's Lorenzo Santa María slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Santa María, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Cauan Favoretto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Mangas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 20th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Sidnei de Barros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cauan Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santiago Futebol Clube. 44 minutes into the game, Christiano de Queirós threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Willy Stieler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Hurezeanu saved Santiago Futebol Clube from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Santa María made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Ödman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Frank Sachs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Hurezeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Santiago Futebol Clube's Lorenzo Santa María. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Santa María quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Santiago Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Arósio. Enrique Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Lorenzo Santa María shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the game Arlindo Ramos made a throw-in which Francisco Zanette played forward. Lorenzo Santa María's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Santiago Futebol Clube got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quintin Scheiber ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Quintin Scheiber got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lorenzo Santa María came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Santiago Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Santa María couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Santa María in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santiago Futebol Clube had won after a very even match.
