Edmundson Ross blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundson Ross. Marjus Laçka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Edmundson Ross tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Pimentel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 67th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marjus Laçka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Edmundson Ross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. 73 minutes into the match, Edmundson Ross had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundson Ross was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damiano Tripodi, made in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marjus Laçka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Marjus Laçka got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marjus Laçka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Felipinho Amorim really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
