Benito Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes El CUERVO perfeto got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Urtsin. Benito Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes El CUERVO perfeto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Filiberto Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Benito Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Emilio Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, El CUERVO perfeto's Octavio Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Benito Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Oxarra was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Rodriguez to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Oxarra saved El CUERVO perfeto from getting behind. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when El CUERVO perfeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Oxarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Oxarra having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute of play forced El CUERVO perfeto's goalkeeper Benito Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of El CUERVO perfeto's Benito Oxarra. Benito Oxarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Su Per kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. El CUERVO perfeto's Benito Oxarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save El CUERVO perfeto from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. El CUERVO perfeto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benito Oxarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El CUERVO perfeto's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 93rd minute of play. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Netherlands played a much better game than El CUERVO perfeto and deserved their victory. The El CUERVO perfeto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
