With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Passet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes of play, England's Kyle Cox made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Passet was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Kyle Cox made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Passet. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Kyle Cox sped through San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Passet. Micah Macdonald took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Passet. Oscar Passet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gervasio Leguizamón hit a great ball. The supporters of England booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match England got a corner. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Micah Macdonald at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of San Lorenzo de Sarandi. 0-7. In the 77th minute of the match, Micah Macdonald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oscar Passet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oscar Passet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 78th minute of the match. Kyle Cox had several of the San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Oscar Passet as he didn't even see the shot coming. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Quinn Holmes with Kyle Cox as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92ndth minute of the game Kyle Cox who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. England played a much better game than San Lorenzo de Sarandi and deserved their victory. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
