Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Rosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s attentive David Beckham managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. In the 8th minute ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ were awarded a corner. David Beckham went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s David Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s players had a chance to rest. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Edmundson Ross sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute of the match, Edmundson Ross got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Edmundson Ross capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundson Ross really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Edmundson Ross blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundson Ross in the 26th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marjus Laçka came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marjus Laçka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundson Ross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marjus Laçka. Marjus Laçka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Beckham in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Almeida to maneuver through the defense. When Edmundson Ross came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundson Ross couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundson Ross in the 57th minute of play. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ made a substitution. Aurelio Iacovacci replaced Edmundson Ross. In the 61st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Domenico Rosi who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Portugal booed when ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Iacovacci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Iacovacci. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Marjus Laçka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 74th minute of play. Amerigo Rosini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Aurelio Iacovacci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marjus Laçka saved ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Iacovacci went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 87th match minute, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Passos to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Iacovacci in the 90th minute of play. Marjus Laçka made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Bartolomeu Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Marjus Laçka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Portugal to leave the ground with a draw.
