Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Artūrs Sagalats started the match with the kick off. Drosmis Kalnaiza struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Annenieki. 4 minutes into the match, Artūrs Sagalats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artūrs Sagalats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 6 minutes, Drosmis Kalnaiza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Annenieki and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SK Annenieki's Drosmis Kalnaiza got a free kick in the 7th minute. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jānis Lielais in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jānis Lielais was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Artūrs Sagalats elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jānis Lielais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jānis Lielais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drosmis Kalnaiza in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jāzeps Pics in the 30th minute of play. If Artūrs Sagalats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th of the match, Frank Sachs tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jānis Lielais got in the way and made a wonderful save. 36 minutes into the match, Indris Tomass notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Reinholds Jaunzems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drosmis Kalnaiza got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Drosmis Kalnaiza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinholds Jaunzems, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. SK Annenieki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinholds Jaunzems in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artūrs Sagalats got free with Tommy Kahn in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Artūrs Sagalats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Artūrs Sagalats slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 59th minute. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Artūrs Sagalats put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artūrs Sagalats in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jāzeps Pics could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Jāzeps Pics scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 0-7. SK Annenieki's Vilis Lettlands was substituted for Indris Tomass. The crowd rose to their feet as Artūrs Sagalats kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 0-8 in the 82 minute of play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jāzeps Pics in the 87th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jāzeps Pics went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over SK Annenieki could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Germany throughout the match.
