The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Türk Polis Gücü booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Aybars Demirci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Türk Polis Gücü got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yngve Lindqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Yngve Lindqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Günther Doty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Türk Polis Gücü's Kayacan Salman got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 46th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Edmund Dulemba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Türk Polis Gücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaid Cevahir went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Zaid Cevahir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The Germany fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Türk Polis Gücü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
