Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Austria's Sandro Galishoff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt got control of the ball when Sandro Galishoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Pelle Flinck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Flinck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jonas Nalder kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Claes Lindholm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Auer skillfully saved the ball. Henning Bodin might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henning Bodin ran back to his position shaking his head. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Bodin in the 18th minute of play. Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Harrer in the 20th minute of play. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Almstedt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Austria's Fabio Schneider got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Pelle Flinck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Auer was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Dan Bergstedt had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Sandro Galishoff's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Patrick Hedling's late challenge caught a Austria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Hedling helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Jämjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Hedling. Dan Bergstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 35th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Fabio Schneider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Jämjö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Jämjö IFK defense, Sandro Galishoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Bergstedt. The Jämjö IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Bergstedt should have stopped the shot.
When Leonhard Maier fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Leonhard Maier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Dan Bergstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Galishoff went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sandro Galishoff hit a great ball. Dan Bergstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvin Harrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelle Flinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bergstedt having to interfere. Austria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
