The corner led Fiume Veneto's Rico Taha to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 minutes, Cristoforo Volpe made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Major Barna sped through Fiume Veneto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Addari. The Fiume Veneto fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Fiume Veneto's Cristoforo Volpe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Addari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's Cristoforo Volpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Volpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rico Taha sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Volpe in the 42nd minute of the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Volpe in the 42nd minute of play. Dario Addari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Graziano in the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Cristoforo Volpe notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Alain Girault got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Addari, 4-2. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Volpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fiume Veneto's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Addari came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Alvise Carlucci got a free kick in the 76th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fiume Veneto's Dario Addari got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Taha in the 92nd minute of play.
